Skills and expertise
Lucy is passionate about helping students discover their unique voice and explore the world of singing. With a deep understanding of the voice and its connection to the clarinet and saxophone, she emphasises the importance of vocal technique for instrumental play. Drawing from her research on the voice and clarinet, Lucy offers personalised vocal warmups and exercises to enhance vocal range and technique. She provides individualised music programs and enjoyable repertoire to inspire her students. Lucy actively participates in lessons, singing or playing alongside her students, and sets performance goals. She enters clarinet students for exams and voice/clarinet students for concerts and scholarships. Building rapport with students is a priority for engaging and interesting lessons.
