Description
Welcome to our children’s small group singing class. Our experienced instructors will guide your child through fun and energising vocal warm-ups, teaching healthy vocal techniques and correct breathing to support a strong, clear voice. The remaining 20 minutes of each session will focus on practicing songs as a group, with 1-2 new songs introduced per fortnight. Through this class, students will gain confidence in their voice, and may even release tension through vocal expression. Join us for a supportive and engaging environment that fosters a love of singing and music!
Students will cover:
- Vocal warm-up techniques to improve your vocal range and strength
- Breathing techniques to support a strong, clear voice
- Proper posture and body alignment for effective singing
- Pitch accuracy and tuning
- Interpretation of song lyrics and emotional expression
- Harmony and blending with other voices in the group
- Performance skills, such as stage presence and confidence
- Ear training and music theory to develop a better understanding of music
- Teamwork and collaboration skills by singing together as a group
