The Colette Jansen Trio formed in 2021 when Colette returned to live in Nelson. Their concert and intimate lounge repertoire includes jazz standards, jazz-blues, and a mixture of re-interpreted contemporary popular songs delivered in a smooth, tastefully jazzy, and soulful way.
They can also get the party going with a selection of pop, disco and rock ‘n roll.
This dynamic trio includes three polished, experienced and professional musicians.
Barry Korcheski is on keyboard. Alan Burden plays percussion and drums. Colette adds the vocals, harmonica and maybe some whistling on top.
