Gabriel Baird – Romantic Piano Favourites

Gabriel Baird is a bassoonist and pianist based in Christchurch. He plays as Associate Principal bassoonist with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and enjoys a wide range of piano playing opportunities including accompanying, solo performance, chamber music, and improvising at the Court Theatre.
This concert will be an opportunity for Gabriel to share his absolute favourites of the piano repertoire as well as some less likely choices including orchestral transcriptions, original compositions, and perhaps even some improvisation.
