Lunchtime Concert: Zeb Wulff

The manuscript of Beethoven’s Appassionata sonata still bears visible water stains from his enraged passage through a storm after he reportedly almost broke a chair over the head of Prince Lichnowsky.

Sick of being used like a servant Beethoven said: “You are what you are by accident of birth, I am who I am through myself. Of princes, there will be thousands. Of Beethoven there is only one!”

As well as the Beethoven Appassionata there will be world premieres of three new works by local composers Craig Duffy, Janet Seeger and Mary Celeste.

Programme:

Janet Seeger : “Night Falls in Tuckerman Ravine” -Featuring Jasmine Turner
