Lunchtime Concert: Louis Lucas-Perry

Louis Lucas-Perry has been learning the piano since the age of 10. Louis gained a Bachelor’s degree from Victoria University of Wellington under the guidance of Jian Liu and received both the Expressions Piano Trust Prize and the NZSM Director’s Scholarship. Louis also accompanies the Nelson Male Voice Choir and the Motueka High School choirs and has performed many concerts in the Nelson and Wellington areas. For the last few years he has been studying with Richard Mapp. With his guidance he has just recently been accepted into the Lewis Eady piano competition which has been postponed until February 2022. He has also just recently started making weekly Youtube videos (channel: Louis Lucas-Perry) so he has something certain to do in these uncertain times.
