Description
Enhance Your Performance: A Workshop for Musicians
As a musician, your body is your most valuable instrument. Do you often experience tension in your neck, shoulders, or back after long practice sessions or performances? Begin a new conversation with your brain and nervous system, and learn how to release these tensions through slow and gentle movement techniques.
The Feldenkrais® Method also sheds light on the crucial role of tonic eye and neck muscles in influencing posture and movement. These muscles are deeply connected to our overall balance and coordination. By becoming aware of and refining these connections, you can improve your posture, reduce unnecessary tension, and enhance the fluidity of your movements—both on and off the stage.
Do you sometimes struggle with performance anxiety or the physical demands of your craft? The Feldenkrais® Method not only helps to prevent injuries and improve balance, but it can also boost your confidence and enhance your musical expression. This method offers a holistic approach to managing stress and finding greater ease in your playing or singing.
In this workshop, you’ll explore new ways to overcome physical and mental obstacles, learn invaluable skills to refine your technique, and experience the transformative power of mindful movement. Take the first step towards more fluid, comfortable, and expressive performances.
