Free tuition for 2 lessons (excluding the $5 sign-up fee), generously funded by the Ministry of Education. If you choose to continue, lesson charges will then apply at our current rates.

Description
Our free beginner brass lessons are designed for primary and intermediate students. Led by experienced instructors, these classes provide a supportive environment where students can develop fundamental brass playing skills, music reading, and ensemble performance techniques. No prior experience is needed, and instruments may be available for hire.
Students will cover:
- How to assemble and care for their instrument
• Breathing techniques and control
• Embouchure and tone production
• Reading notation
• Opportunity to play in a group
Initially, these lessons are offered for 2 lessons in groups of 1 or more students. Following this, students can continue their musical journey in one of our Dynamic Duo classes or SOLO lesson structures.
Please note: students need to be physically comfortable holding and managing the instrument appropriate for their age and size.
Students must be a member of NCMA before joining this class, and commitment to regular attendance is important so the class can progress together.
