Sam Edmonds

Sam started playing drums 20 years ago and has been touring and recording for the last 15 years, including recording sessions at some of New Zealand’s biggest studios.
With multiple nation-wide tours and a plethora of studio releases under his belt, Sam is ready to pass all he has learned from on the road and in the studio on to the next budding Nelson drummer.

Sam’s approach to drum lessons is to find out what your personal voice on the instrument is and to nurture that unique style while supporting it with a solid foundation of the basic rudiments and concepts. Whether it’s working through a song you know and love or adding more grooves and fills to your songbook, Sam can help you integrate your drumming style into contemporary music.
