The New Zealand Doctors’ Orchestra is delighted to return to Nelson, performing on Sunday 16 June 1.30pm, at the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts.
The orchestra, made up of doctors and medical students from around New Zealand and conducted by José Aparicio, will perform music by Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev that was inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, and Brahms’ stunning concerto for Violin and Cello, with soloists Osman Ozturk and Catherine Kwak.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Nelson Tasman Hospice.
