Nelson Civic Choir with Music Director, Jason Balla, and in conjunction with World Peace Day, explore the theme of ‘Peace’ in a programme of uplifting and beautifully captivating choral music with excerpts from Sir Karl Jenkins’ “The Peacemakers” as well as music by Vaughan Williams, Parry and many more.
The Nelson Civic Choir and orchestra will be joined by guest soloists and members of the Nelson Youth Choir.
The concerts will be streamed worldwide and will usher in a 24 hour global choral event as part of International Day of Peace celebrations.
