Josie Yau

Josie has relocated to NZ.
With a keen interest in teaching, accompaniment, and performance, she is looking forward to working and performing with musicians from Nelson.

With over twenty years of teaching experience, Josie Yau is capable of helping any students overcome technical issues while she believes musical styles, tone colours, and contextual understandings are utterly important in learning classical music. She teaches piano student of all levels. Besides private piano lessons, she is keen to contribute her expertise in piano accompaniment, aural and ensembleship training, to students on other instruments.
