Florence McNabb

Florence is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter and the lead vocalist of Parallel Park. She has years of experience performing live both as a solo artist and a member of the band, with highlights being opening for The Beths and performing at the RockQuest National Final in Auckland as the guest band. As well as live performances, she has experience in composing and recording original music, with two solo releases, an EP, four singles and a debut 10 track album with Parallel Park.

Florence enjoys playing across a wide range of genres but is most confident playing a rock-pop style with the band and as a solo artist finds herself playing and writing indie folk-pop pieces. She has been playing guitar since she was 7 years old and began performing live shortly after.

Florence’s teaching style revolves around a singer-songwriter style with guitar accompaniment, so is able to offer lessons for students wanting to learn both vocals and guitar.
