Description
Designed for anyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or have some basic knowledge, we welcome you to join us in exploring the fascinating world of conducting. This short course will give you an insight into the role of the conductor and give you the chance to learn some basic conducting techniques.
Our hands-on approach allows you to practice with music excerpts, providing you with a dynamic and engaging experience that resembles a mini ensemble.
Students will cover:
- Gain knowledge of conducting conventions and terminology
- Learn effective repertoire selection and interpretation
- Develop skills to communicate with an ensemble
- Explore different conducting styles and gestures
