Stage One is a designated student stage held at Nelson Centre of Musical Arts. Over 4 days, primary and secondary students perform for the public in the wonderful heritage Nelson School of Music Auditorium.
Nelson Arts Festival is delighted to present this wonderful opportunity for students to experience performing in a world-class concert venue with professional support, and for Nelsonians to enjoy young, local talent.
Items range from choirs to ukuleles, kapa haka to jazz, rock to dance.
The performance schedule is:
23 October: Hampden Street School; Victory Primary School; Nelson College
24 October: Nelson Intermediate; Hope School; Enner Glynn School; Richmond School
25 October: St. Joseph’s (Primary); St. Joseph’s (Intermediate); Clifton Terrace School; Waimea Intermediate; Waimea College
26 October: Brightwater School; Motupipi School; Nayland Primary School; Broadgreen Intermediate School
