Celebration Series: NCMA Chamber Orchestra presents Viva L’Italia!
Join the NCMA Chamber Orchestra and New Zealand Symphony Orchestra’s Assistant Concertmaster, violinist, Donald Armstrong as they perform a programme with a distinct Italian flavour.
Italian (but Nelson resident) Raffaele Bandoli (trumpet) will feature as a soloist and will perform the Tartini Trumpet Concerto in d major.
NCMA’s Chamber Orchestra is a professional ensemble including many NCMA teaching staff.

The Celebration Series is a new season of concerts produced by NCMA over the autumn and winter months. The concerts are the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Audience members will be able to relax and enjoy performances featuring wonderful local and national musicians including Michael Houstoun, the NCMA Chamber Orchestra featuring Donald Armstrong and more. Performances take place in the Nelson School of Music Auditorium, NCMA every second Sunday at 3.30pm from March until September 2019.
