CARMINE CARUSO TECHNIQUE AND CALISTHENIC FOR BRASS INSTRUMENTS
The masterclass is aimed at brass players wanting to extend their playing range and endurance.
Attendees will learn:
- How to develop correct tone production and breathing on a brass instrument
- How to develop a stronger, more focused and consistent embouchure
- How to extend the instrument’s range
The Carmine Caruso Technique is established worldwide but little known in NZ.
$25 for participants
$5 for observers

About Raffaele Bandoli
Raffaele was born in Faenza, Italy. He completed his musical studies at the Conservatory of Music Fratelli Malerbi in Lugo, Italy under the guidance of Professor Marco Tampieri, a prominent teacher at national and European level.
After a period of study in the US and some time back in Italy playing regularly with a popular dance orchestra, Raffaele moved to Nelson where he collaborates with the Nelson Symphony Orchestra and Nelson City Brass.
Raffaele currently teaches trumpet and cornet to private students and enjoys playing with local bands Los Galanes and Sun City Soul.
