Masterclass for Piano & Piano Duo by Michele Benignetti & Eleanora Spina

Saturday 18th July 9:30am – 12:30pm

This one-off masterclass for piano and piano duo with the internationally renowned teachers and soloists Michele Benignetti and Eleonora Spina, provides piano players a fantastic opportunity to spend a day preparing for the new academic year, a rehearsal, a concert appearance, a competition or an exam, or simply to develop a programme of their own choice.

With its generous Recital Theatre, NCMA offers an exceptional setting for intensive work and artistic and professional development.

Students and young students from music universities, music colleges and conservatories, advanced students of music schools and private lessons, professional musicians, instrument teachers are invited to apply in advance in order to book their place. A limited number of places are available.

The courses are open to participants of all nationalities and of any age. Exceptions to the minimum age requirement are possible in consultation with the course management.

Free programme selection from the solo, piano duo, chamber music and concert repertoire.

Course languages English, French, Italian.


$25 for participants

$5 for observers

Payment can be made on the day – cash only.

About Michele Benignetti & Eleanora Spina

The Italian Piano Duo Spina & Benignetti is one of the most talented and acclaimed piano duo in Europe. Their album “Lifetime” including works of Mozart, Rachmaninov and Barber won the Gold Medal as Best Duo, Best Emerging Artist and Best Album at the 2017 Global Music Awards in USA.

Coming from a strong musical lineage with backgrounds as soloist and chamber musicians, the duo have appeared as soloists in orchestras across Italy, France and The Netherlands. The duo performs regularly throughout Europe, and they have also toured across South Africa, Asia, Australia and the USA. 2019 has been one of their busiest years to date, with over 50 concerts played in just 6 months.

The piano duo are Official Yamaha Artists and have been proudly sponsored by them since December 2017.
