The concert is the highlight of the Ceol Aneas Irish Music Festival. This is a rare opportunity to experience Irish traditional music at its very best. Expect lively Irish music and “craic” with toe-tapping tunes.
For the first time since 2019, our guest lineup will feature top class artists from Ireland and Australia: Sorcha Costello (fiddle), Pádraig Ó Dubhgaill (guitar), Conor Connolly (button accordion), Pamela Queally (fiddle), Beth McCracken (flute), Jody Moran (banjo/mandolin) and Jack Brennan (uilleann pipes).
Local talent, New Zealand based tutors Áine Gallagher (singing) and local Nelson legend Brendyn Montgomery (tin whistle) will also be featured.
