Adam-Chamber-Summer

Grand Finale

What a feast! We open with Beethoven’s joyous early piano trio, followed by Debussy’s only violin sonata filled with exotic colours and quirky textures, and round out the first half with glorious operatic favourites from our soprano diva Anna Leese and pianist Richard Mapp. The evening culminates with the great Schumann piano quintet, the first of this genre and premiered with Mendelssohn at the piano. A wonderful close to our Adam Summer Celebration.
