Affordable Music & Dance Classes
Our small group classes are an affordable introduction to music and dance.

Instruments: Music Theory
These classes provide an affordable option for learning music theory in a group setting. Classes will run depending on interest and require a minimum of 3 students so bring a friend and join the fun! Please note that students working towards sitting their Grade 5 ABRSM theory of music exam will be required to purchase their own workbook.
Instruments: General Music Experience
When we sing, when we move, when we play in a musical context, we explore the fundamental elements of music. Using song, dance and creative movement, body percussion, tuned and untuned percussion, creative storytelling and poetry we lay a strong foundation for musical development.
Instruments: Marimba, Percussion
Have fun learning to play as part of a marimba ensemble using the NCMA percussion instruments. Immediately successful. No music reading skills necessary. Develop the ensemble playing skills needed to perform a variety of styles of music.
Junior Ballet is designed for students aged 8-10yrs. The class is an introduction to Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, supported by a professional teacher with a positive manner towards teaching and learning.
This class gives students the opportunity to initiate, develop or refine their songwriting abilities. Guitar is selected as instrument of choice. However, most class material can be transferred and applied to a keyboard. NB: Its recommended that students can play open-chords on a guitar to a basic proficiency i.e. to recall and play a minimum of 3 different chords
Instruments: Hand Bells
Have fun learning to play as part of a Hand Bell Choir using the NCMA’s historic Edrigde-MacLean Hand Bells. Immediately successful. No music reading skills necessary to start with. We will develop the ensemble playing skills needed to perform a variety of music.
These flute/recorder classes provide an affordable option for learning an instrument in a group setting. Classes will run depending on interest and require a minimum of 3 students so bring a friend and join the fun!
This group is designed to give flute players the opportunity to have fun playing together as part of a group at the same time as developing flute technique and ensemble skills under the guidance of an experienced flute teacher.
Instruments: Electronic Music Production
This class gives students the opportunity to create music using Logic Pro X on a Macintosh computer.
