Natania is a vibrant, young musician who began learning cornet at the age of 8 and has been involved in music ever since. She has a wide range of experience playing in brass bands including three national secondary school bands. Natania is currently 2nd trombone in the Nelson Symphony Orchestra and Nelson City Brass Band, and is principal trombone of the National Secondary Schools Brass Band. Natania has Level 3 NCEA in Music. She is currently completing a NCEA performance scholarship.

Heavily involved in a wide range of community and national bands, Natania has extensive experience in group and solo performance.



Skills and expertise

Natania has vast knowledge in not only cornet and trombone, but can also teach any brass band instrument.

Natania has taught people of all ages and can cater to a wide range of abilities and learning needs.

An important focus is on developing a solid technique, tone production and stylistic interpretation.

Natania adapts her teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student.
