Jess was an original member and soloist for the renowned Christchurch Pops Choir, took part in the New Zealand International Summer Singing School in 2011, and has since been fortunate enough to study with some of the best vocal tutors in New Zealand.

In 2016, she was selected to take part in a masterclass weekend and performer’s showcase, with one of Australia’s leading musical theatre composers in Melbourne. Jess now runs her own theatre company here in Nelson, as well as teaching voice.

Skills and expertise

Jess believes anyone can be taught to sing, they just need to have the drive to do the work and the patience to let it happen. She loves working with singers who love to sing, and enjoys helping people find the confidence to do so.

She offers group lessons for kids aged 5-10, individual lessons for all ages, workshops to help people overcome performance anxiety as well as frequent masterclasses during the year.
