The NCMA Youth Jazz Ensemble is for young players to come together to play and learn the art of jazz. It will be made up of a rhythm section consisting of bass guitar, drums, guitar, keyboard, piano, and may be expanded to include melodic instruments. This will run for the whole year and students are expected to have lessons on their respective instruments to support their development in this group.

This is part of the Jazz pathway that starts with the “jazz improvisation for kids” class which runs on Mondays from 3:30 pm till 4 pm and ends with the NCMA Youth Jazz Orchestra which runs on Mondays from 4pm till 5:30 pm.
