The Intermediate Youth Orchestra is the perfect bridge between our popular Junior Youth Orchestra and the more advanced Senior Youth Orchestra.
No auditions are required for entry. However, students will need to be playing at grade 3-4 level. Students will be supported to extend themselves technically on their instrument as well as further develop their knowledge of orchestral repertoire and etiquette. The group plays an eclectic repertoire, but mainly classical orchestral music. There are plenty of opportunities for solo performances. Have fun and up-skill at the same time!
Students must be a member of NCMA before joining this class.
