A popular community orchestra, established in the 1990s by the residents of Greenhill Road, Nelson. There are no auditions and most music comes from standard orchestra repertoire. Greenhill Orchestra accompanies young soloists in a Rising Stars Concert each year, as well as combining with other regional orchestras to perform at least two other public concerts.
Greenhill Orchestra members are welcome to attend the Senior Youth Orchestra practices which take place Tuesdays 4.30pm before Greenhill rehearses.
Students must be a member of NCMA before joining this class.
