Music Therapy: Affordable Group Class (Adult)

Structure:
Classmates will be welcomed into the space with gentle rhythmic music and a hello song. There will be percussion and other instruments for them to actively explore and play if they choose to. Music therapists will guide other musical activities and musical experiences so over time trusting connections will be nurtured. The music therapists will work in the moment, engaging with participants individually and as a group to encourage self-expression and creativity and fun. Music has the ability to touch and reach individuals who may have difficulty expressing themselves. The music therapists are trained to safely facilitate this exploration. Instruments will be supplied but participants are welcome to bring their own.

Students must be a member of NCMA before joining this class.
